Monday, start of the week, boringg... Nothing special happened during class 'cept that tiow hong asked me to accompany him out to buy Stef Sun's new album: A Perfect Day. We left after the second meeting and went to "that CD shop" at Tanglin mall only to discover that they don't have it. Sadd... So we had lunch there and thought about a quick move to Cineleisure's Sembawang Music Shop just to check if the album really IS out. We caught a bus along Tanglin road and in a jiffy, reached the bus stop in front of Heeren. We changed our minds and headed towards HMV as it would obviously stock the new Stef Sun album IF it had already been released. Upon reaching the chinese section, we looked high and low the new release section for her album. I told myself that if the album costs below $20, i would buy it without delay (cuz I'm outta cash after paying for the diving course). Then there it was, sitting prettily atop the highest shelf. Price? $19.95. Shiaaat... I bought it with mixed feelings. Happy cuz I've got Stef Sun's new album and new songs to listen to. Sad cuz my pocket just became lighter.
After sch I went to Xy's mum's friend's (Xy's aunt) house for a haircut. Since she was a former hairdresser, I had the faith in her even though the materials used to cut and highlight were scarce. It costs $37 for both tho, cheaper than usual. She was a chinese speaking lady who obviously didn't know who Morten Gamst Pedersen was. I wanted his hairstyle. So I had to describe to her using my limited Chinese vocab. Well, it turned out fine and I kinda like it. She didn't have Ash White with her so I took the lightest colour she had which was I dunno, light blonde? The result was not really wad I wanted but nevertheless it was still acceptable.
I've finally did wad I wanted to do ever since I got Joshua to trim the back of my hair for me. Cut and highlight my hair. I thought his trimming was good but maybe I can't see the back of my hair so I didn't know the extent of the damage cuz ppl like Ginny, Ash and the other staff at Pierside were urging me to go for a haircut. Some even said I look like a nerd. Ok, I've cut it.
A perfect day today? Not really, but it could've been.
