Standard Operational Procedure or SOP in the morning. However i saw this lady sweeping the corridors as i left the house. I've seen her a couple of times collecting cardboard boxes and empty cans near rubbish collection centres. Today I see her right at my doorstep. She looks early 60, thin and her golden hair clipped up. As i walked past, she flashed me a sweet smile. I smiled back. That got me thinking. I don't know if she's paid to sweep the corridors but she's certainly doing more than that. She's brightening others' days. I hope to see her more often sweeping my doorstep so that early in the morning, my day's brightened.
