The days are short, the nights are long. The rain's pouring like it has never rained in Singapore before. The sky's dark, my mood's gloomy. I wish the rain would stop; its affecting me. It has even made me sick yesterday but thanks to the magic of mint tea [thanks janice (:], I've recovered and self declared fit to go to church. I miss the hot and humid weather Singaporeans love to complain about. The streets are flooded and the patches of grass are drowned in water. My umbrella's useless against these torrential rains. I still get drenched knee high. My shoes' always wet and my socks soaked. For the past week I feel that Singapore's becoming like Bangla. The reason being not only because Singapore is filled with Banglas, but the streets are becoming flooded too. Bangla's also experiencing flash floods which we might face if the weather doesn't ease up.
God, please give Singapore and me some face. Grant me my prayer for the rain to stop.
